Awesome!

I was looking for a proper meditation guide as I've started mediation recently. This is the perfect book according to me, to learn the basics of meditation to achieve happiness, manage stress and for self-improvement.
Johnny Fit has revealed the myths of meditation like it's difficult to perform or it takes years to get benefit from it etc.
Meditation has so many benefits that it's unbelievable sometimes but as I'm practicing, I can already see and feel the improvements mentally and physically in me.
The best part of this book is the demonstrations of different postures with figure diagrams! This just made everything easier for me to practice.
Meditation techniques and goals are well explained and this book really satisfy a beginner's mind by fulfilling the needs of a learner.
Overall, this was a complete guide to start going with meditation and I absolutely loved it!

Beautifully written, great for beginners!

As for the rest of the book, it was well written and very well organized. The topic is becoming more and more popular, and I have read several books on meditation looking for that little hint that will help me break through my own stress levels. This book was an interesting read because it dealt with a lot of information. The author covers the gamut, informing the reader about the history and benefits of meditation, how it works, how to prepare to do it and how to practice in order to be good at it. The author also covers the obstacles that readers will encounter on their path and gives ideas as to how to deal with those obstacles.
There is a strong focus on trying to live in the moment, appreciate and notice your surroundings, and be aware of your own stress causing events. This is an educational read that I would read again.

Stress is the nemesis of mellenials today. As part of that new age group, I also always find myself in a state of frustration over all the things that I need to do and all the things that I want to do. Trying to have work-life balance is difficult to do especially if you work for more than 15 hours a day. Luckily, there is meditation. However, my struggle is always on how to start with it. This book teaches us how to jump start with our meditation skills. It is difficult but at least it was able to show how it is done. However, the book is very short,so I am hoping that the author took more time to give more information.
