Do you seek enlightenment and physical strength?

If you are serious about setting yourself on a path to health and wellness, Yoga is the single fastest way to begin connecting with your body and mind. Don't kid yourself, it's also a workout. I started a couple of years ago with the p90X yoga segment. Difficult at first,it turned out to be the most rewarding part of the program. Add an element of active meditation to the mix (and done in the morning) you will start your day in a calm state of mind and carry yourself positively through the rest of the day. No gym required, you can do some of these anywhere.
The poses shown in Yoga & Meditation are relatively easy for beginners and opens the door to progress to more challenging routines.
The author goes in depth comparing a number of Yoga options, making the connection between body and mind.

I started doing yoga recently. My friend suggested me this book. It is definitely for beginners. It has a lot of helpful information about the poses and breathing techniques. It was a very good buy.

What I love about this book is that it is concise--it should be labeled Everything You Need To Know About Yoga, but it leaves out anything that isn't relevant. Most books on yoga and mindfulness are either long winded, containing information that only yoga fanatics would care about; or they are too basic, leaving out important information that novices and experts alike should know. This book provides a perfect description of the history and theories behind meditation, along with concrete and easy-to-understand models of how to perform the exercises. I must confess I was a novice, and this is the book that made me a believer in the extreme benefits of yoga!
