Fantastic

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
I have read all of Jovee Winters books and they are amongst my favorites. The Ice queen is no different.
Luminesa is the ice queen after a fateful night long ago made her wish to never again be hurt by a Man.
Since that time she has created the perfect land for herself an arctic world filled with life just not any people. She surrounds herself with those that can never cause her harm and is perfectly content until the evil under goblin causes trouble.
When Luminesa is propositioned by the under goblin with a wager that gives her the chance to be rid of him forever she agrees. Save two human children and one mostly human by finding the key and she has one months time. The wager seems simple enough but nothing is ever that easy.
Soon Luminesa is thrust into an arctic prison world of the goblins making, where she must find the way out before the month is up. Throw into the mix a sexy as sin Centaur with a kind heart and some other phenomenon attributes that may just defrost the Ice queen, two innocent kids , and of course frost demons and you have an edgy, sexy and sweet tale.
One of my favorite stories to date don't miss this one a perfect read for a cold winters night. I hope you fall as much in love with Alador and Luminesa as I did, tears and laughter were both involved!

Wonderful and heartbreaking

This story follows the story of Luminessa, who we first meet in the story Her One Wish, by Marie Hall. Her story begins in a tragic way, when a man she knew her whole life did a horrible thing to her, and Nixie turns her into the Ice Queen.
This book finds Luminessa years later . She is having trouble with the Under Goblin and he pulls her into a riddle that risks her life as she knows it and the lives of the 3 innocents he has trapped.
I found it a wonderful story of warming back up to the world. I love how Alador helps Luminessa to melt the Ice around her heart that has kept her unfeeling for so long. Her decision at the end is heartbreaking, yeah I cried. I fell in love with all the characters in this book, and will definitely be looking at centaurs in a different light from now on.

I just loved how beautifully romantic this book was. The characters were wonderful....kind hearted and dedicated. Jovee was able to pull off a centaur love affair without making it weird!!!! I loved how in love they were and how thoughtful he was to Luminesa and how he respected her. This book was super sexy, very sweet and also quite heart wrenching. I cried for a bit towards the end. This is one of my top five favorite Kingdom books. I will cry myself to sleep when this series ends
