A great blend of academics and non-fiction.

The author does not only have a PhD in sociology but is also very intrinsically passionate about the topic. Rather than being excessively academical he's also the hero of his own journey.
The book reflects his personal experience aswell as shares insight and knowledge of the most influential scientists on the topic before him.
In addition to defining passion the book helps to find one's calling which will make our life that much more better.
The book is a great blend of non-fiction and academical writings all of which will benefit the reader. A lot of additional references are given for those more interested in the subject.
